My living room

It just doesn't make sense to have it set up like this. : ( This is how my living room looks now. We have to cover our fireplace with the T.V. so the daycare kids don't get into, and we haven't used it for years now, because it lets more cold air in then it warms the house up. I put the couches that way for a "conversation" area. lol But then we only have one couch that can see the t.v. hmmm

So below is what I came up with to try to make the room more appealing to the eye. More symetrical, and even with the angles, and walls. whatever. hehe I try to make the best with what I have, and I have to say that I am pretty excited about this set up below.

There is a place for a christmas tree, the fireplace isn't covered and it will look nice next to the couch, the end table isn't in some weird place half way between two rooms, its a conversation area, and both couches can see the t.v., and all the daycare stuff is together still, but the toys will hopefully be able to be kept out of the t.v. area(high hopes, but its better than nothing).

I just hope that I don't get tired of it to quick like all the other ways I have re-arranged the room. I am pretty sure I have had it atleast 5 different ways the last 7 years. : )

I realy want my living room to be perfect. haha ya..... right.
Well, I have come up with a new idea. The first picture is how it is
now, and the second picture is what I am going to change it to.
Wish me luck!

  1. I like your new set up. It looks cozy by the window. I wish I had a living room to rearrange. Someday it will be finished, and I will have a place for a Christmas tree too. Love you.
