For Easter weekend we spent the day with my parents. Thing 2 is
absolutely in love with her "Pampa".
She even fell asleep in his arms for a nap, that I didn't think she would get.
The big kids were all playing on the trampoline, and she wasn't so
confindent, so Grandpa helped her. It was the cutest thing, seeing him
jump with her and make sure she felt safe. I just love the bond that
my dad has with his grandkids. So special! She isn't the first to fall head over heals in love with him either. : )
This wouldn't be a picture of my dad without the Mountain Dew can : )
Thanks Dad : )
I really love the one of their hands touching!
ReplyDeleteI have already noticed a new difference in your pictures. What do you think of your new camera? I just got the Nikon D90 and I am so extremely impressed with it! It is amazing! As far as another lens goes I would get a good wide angle - telephoto lens. I own a 70-135mm Nikkor lens. I also own a Sigma 17-70mm f2.8 lens (in the shop currently for repair) but I love the versatility. Since I think the wide angle will become a more permenant lens on the camera don't be afraid to spend extra money on a good lens. I would budget from $700 -$1200 on a lens... sounds steep but it is worth it. Cheap lenses (well you get what you pay for). You will never buy a cheap lens after getting a good one... trust me... I learned cause I made the mistakes of buying cheap lenses. I would also suggest that sticking to the brand of our camera. They are designed for your camera to function correctly with your camera, where sigma and tamron are generic for all cameras so sometimes you may lose quality, and some functionality... but then again I do own a Sigma and I actually don't mind it. I would just research research research cause I don't know much about your camera. But a good wide angle would be my next purchase. Then a 85mm f1.2 or 1.4... I haven't gotten one yet as they cost about $1,200 but it is on my wish list. I will hopefully have one by the end of the year! :D
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of his and her hands. I got teary eyed looking at his hands and how much they mean to me.
